First Dollar Sprint. Setup, then two weeks.

Ship it. Launch it. Make your first internet dollar.

For professional parents who have the experience and the idea, but not the nerve for the technical parts. First we clear the plumbing at your pace: accounts, payments, the legal entity question. Then a two-week sprint: your hour a day, a 20 to 30 minute call with me each weekday, Slack in between, until it is live and a stranger has paid for it.

You are not behind. You just have not done the scary parts yet. I have done them ten times, and five of those died in public.
Who it's for

Mid-career, a family, an idea, one protected hour.

01

15 to 25 years in

You have real domain knowledge. The thing you would build comes from a problem you have actually lived.

02

An idea, or close to one

You can describe who it is for and what it does in two sentences. We cut it down to one feature on day one.

03

About an hour a day

Early morning, after bedtime, lunch break. It has to be real and it has to be yours. The sprint does not work on stolen minutes.

Not for you, yet, if: you do not have an idea at all (start with IkigaiNiche and come back), you want someone to build it for you, or you cannot protect the hour. I will tell you on the first message if I think it is a bad fit.

The scary parts

The six places first-time builders freeze.

None of these are hard. All of them are unfamiliar, and unfamiliar is where people stop. I have done each one enough times that they are boring to me.

Cutting the idea down

From a product in your head to one feature a stranger would pay for. You and me and an AI model in a room, until it is small enough to ship in a week.

Building with AI tools

Which coding tools to use, how to talk to them, what to do when they confidently break something. You write the prompts. I show you where it lies.

Deploying it

A domain, DNS records, hosting, HTTPS, environment secrets. The part that sounds like a different language. It is an afternoon.

Store review

App Store or Chrome Web Store, screenshots, privacy labels, the rejection email and what to do with it.

Taking money

Stripe or in-app purchase, a price that is not embarrassing, a payment link that works the first time a stranger clicks it.

Telling the world

The first post under your own name, the first direct ask. The part most people never get to. We do it on day seven, not someday.

The path

Setup at your pace. Then week one you ship, week two you get paid.

The sprint clock starts at a green light: you can take a payment and you have a place to ship to. Everything that makes that true happens in Setup, so the two weeks stay two weeks.

Setup, up to 30 days

The plumbing

Domain. Payment account. Apple developer account if it is an iPhone app. Employer policy check. The legal entity decision. A short checklist, me on Slack, no calls. Most people are done in two to four weeks. Thirty days is the cap, because this is where sprints go to die.

Sprint days 1 to 7

Shipped and announced

One feature, built with AI tools, deployed on your own domain or submitted to a store, and a public post about it under your name. Day seven is a hard line.

Sprint days 8 to 14

First dollar

A price, a payment path that works, and the asks. Not a launch campaign, just the specific people and places where your first paying stranger is. We go and find them.

Setup defaults

Three calls I will make for you, unless you give me a reason not to.

Doing it right, for a first dollar, means doing the minimum that lets a stranger pay you. Everything else can be upgraded the week after the money arrives.

Legal entity after the first dollar

In the US you can take money tomorrow as a sole proprietor with a personal Stripe account. An LLC, EIN and business bank account before any revenue is how careful people feel productive without shipping. We form it the week after, or in parallel, never as a gate. The exception is an employer clause that makes the entity matter now.

Web or Chrome first, iPhone second

No review queue, no 30 percent cut, no developer fee, and the first dollar can land in week two. If it has to be an iPhone app, you enroll with Apple as an individual on day one of Setup, which takes days, we ship to TestFlight in the sprint, and the first dollar comes from a founding-member link while review runs.

Not in the US? You do not need a US company to get paid

Setting up a US LLC, a US tax number and a US bank account from abroad takes about two months and is a miserable first experience. Instead, you use a service that sells your product on your behalf, collects the money, handles sales tax, and pays you out to your local bank. Lemon Squeezy and Paddle do exactly this, and Stripe works directly in more than 45 countries. A US company comes later, if you ever need one.

How it works

A short call every workday. Slack in between.

20 to 30 minutes, same time daily

During the sprint only. Ten weekdays, ten short calls. What you did, where you are stuck, what you do next. The daily rhythm is the product.

Slack, same-day replies

From the first day of Setup to the last day of the sprint. Stuck on a DNS record at 9pm? Post it. I answer the same day, usually faster. Screenshots welcome.

Three people at a time

I have a day job and kids too. Three sprints at once is the most I can do well, so there is a short queue.

Price

$990 founding price. Half to start, half on sprint day 14.

To start

$490

Due before Setup begins. It covers Setup and the sprint. This is your commitment and it is not refundable. It is also the only money you risk.

On sprint day 14

$500

Waived if you shipped, told the world, and still have no first dollar. You did the work. The rest of the risk is mine.

The definitions, so there is no argument later. Shipped means a live URL or a store listing a stranger can use. Told the world means a public post about it under your own name. First dollar means a payment from someone you did not already know. Friends and family are lovely and do not count.

Founding price. $990 is for the first three people through the sprint. After that, it will be $1,990, same split, same waiver.

Proof

I did exactly this. Recently. With kids.

iPhone app

Steady

$40 revenue in the first two weeks.

A fasting coach, built at 5am, through App Store review, with paid subscriptions live inside two weeks of launch.

Chrome extension

ReplyWisely

$300 revenue. 25 paying customers.

Strangers paid for it. Small numbers, real ones, and the same first steps you will take.

The record

Five killed products

Every one with a public postmortem.

I know where the dead ends are because I walked into them. You get to skip those.

Company-wide Stripe revenue is verified on TrustMRR. My day job for 20 years has been designing and running systems that stay up and stay secure, from DevOps and systems engineering to running security at a regulated fintech. That is why the deploy, DNS and payments parts are boring to me, and why the version you ship will not leak your users' data on day one. Those same years were spent building and coaching high-performing teams, and coaching speakers at Toastmasters, including a term as president of the Harvard Toastmasters club. Walking someone through a thing they are scared of is the part I have done the most. The rest of my story is here.

Results

The first three sprints.

This offer is new. The first three people through it will have their results posted here, with their permission, including any sprint that ends without the dollar. If you want to be one of them, $990 is the founding price. After that, it will be $1,990.

Apply in three lines.

What you would build. The hour you can protect. The part that scares you most. I reply to every message.
